This means products have been tested and verified to meet stringent chemical emissions standards.                       The GREENGUARD Gold Certification mark indicates that products have been independently and scientifically screened for over 10,000 chemicals and more than 360 volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as formaldehyde and phthalates, that pollute indoor air and contribute to health problems, including asthma and allergies. Products carrying GREENGUARD Gold Certification meet UL’s rigorous third-party chemical emissions standards and are low-emitting.
